A New Owners Guide to Border Collies

Robyn L. Powley has been active in Border Collies for well over a decade. While she and her husband Mark lived in Great Britain, Robyn bred her first litter and handled her female, Stormie, to a placing in the Crufts Dog Show in 1992. Now the proud owner of 12 Border Collies under the Darkwind Kennels prefix, Robyn is active in countless breed pursuits, including conformation, agility, and herding. She is the owner of America's first AKC champion, New Zealand and American Ch. Clan-Abby-To-Hell-And-Back, a Westminster Kennel Club Best of Breed Winner. Robyn is now in her third term as president of the American Border Collie Club and is currently a member of several other breed clubs around the world. An aspiring judge, Robyn authored the Border Collie Club's Judges Guide and was a breed columnist for the AKC Gazette.
